Rishad advances 12 places, 5 of top 10 in Tests are Australians
Bangladesh spinner Rishad Hossain has been rewarded for his good bowling in the T20 series against Sri Lanka. He has made a big jump in the ICC weekly rankings. Rishad has moved up 12 places to 17th in the updated T20 bowlers’ rankings released today. This is Rishad’s best position in T20s. Earlier, the Bangladesh leg-spinner had once reached number 17 after the West Indies tour last year. Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are tied 1-1 in the T20 series. Rishad took 1 wicket for 24 runs in the first match in Pallekele. Bangladesh lost to Sri Lanka by 7 runs in that match. Rishad took 3 wickets for 18 runs in 3.2 overs in Bangladesh’s 83-run win in the second match in Dambulla.
